In this Tex-Mex-seasoned stuffed delicata squash recipe we swap out half of the ground beef you’d normally use for bulgur to reduce saturated fat without skimping on the amount of stuffing. Serve with a mixed green salad with cilantro vinaigrette.
5 yr old, and 3 yr old)… I doubled the recipe using 1# ground beef and 1# ground pork… Otherwise, everything was TO THE RECIPE. I made them into meatball sliders, with Hawaiian rolls, ooey gooey parmesan/mozzarella blend, and jarred marinara… THEY WERE SUCH A HIT!! Even the kids gobbled ’em up! Of course, my son and I had to sample the meatballs, out of the oven, and pre-slider… They were soooo incredibly flavorful, tender, juicy, and just DELICIOUS!! Everyone raved… THIS recipe is a go-to, favorite, and will be used over and over and over! Thank you for sharing… I’m hooked!
Made this recipe as is and it was good. Having said that next time I will add in some veggies and a little more sauce. This was quick and easy though. My family all ate it but agreed it was a little flat on flavor. Thanks for sharing your recipes 😊
Do as Jana Kramer does: Tie on an apron, put on a Patsy Cline record, and whip up some of these chewy cookies. Ground oats and chopped pecans give them great texture, and a grated milk chocolate bar gives the chocolate morsels an extraordinary boost. Readers absolutely love this cookie. One described these as “great cookies,” while another enthused, “This recipe is a keeper!” We certainly think so. It really is the grated milk chocolate bar that kicks this up to maximum decadence level because it mixes so well with the semisweet chocolate morsels. Savor every sweet bite.
How can a recipe with just a few basic ingredients and requiring very little preparation be, in your words, a waste of time and money? In my opinion you are being impolite and disrespectful. Maybe, dare I suggest, you should look at your own possible culinary failings. Just a thought.
You’ll probably want a whole plate of these to ward off frostbite: think of them as what you have when your day doesn’t include any chance of going out in the snow. Instead, in this recipe, just a touch of peppermint extract adds the perfect amount of frosty flavor to the white chocolate icing, creating a melt-in-your-mouth favorite. The “frost” here comes from dipping one side of these crunchy creations in a white chocolate frosting. When the topping hardens, it creates a cookie that looks as beautiful as it tastes. You’d better settle in next to the fire with a plate of these and warm up.
DELICIOUS ! I made this last night for my not so easy to please husband and it was a hit I didn’t have ground ginger but i did have fresh so i used it instead.Never used it before but it turned out great ,and hubby loved it .Thanks for sharing.I used about a 1/4 a tsp.a fresh grated ginger.
Great Meatballs! I actually used 2 lbs. of a veal, pork and beef blend and they were still very moist with the two eggs and milk. I also used an Italian spice blend in place of just oregano and used grated Grana Padano instead of parmesan. Im sure they would be great either way
Cranberry-Pecan Rugalach—a version of the European Jewish pastry—is a testament to the varied influences of Southern foodways. Traditionally, rugalach are made with ingredients that include chocolate, walnuts, jam, or fruit preserves. This recipe brings in the traditional Southern favorite nut, the pecan, and pairs it with cranberries, for a truly innovative approach. The filling consists of toasted chopped pecans, and chopped sweetened dried cranberries—though you could substitute dried cherries or apricots if you prefer. Sprinkle sparkling sugar on these before they go in the oven. They will be bright when they come out, and delicious as you eat them after they cool.

I just made these meatballs. The taste is fantastic!! My girls requested I make the again. We ate the as is with a nice salad. Next time we’re going to make meatball subs with melted mozzarella. Thanks Kelly for this great recipe!!!
I made the meatloaf first (with more spice and ketchup and tomato paste on top) then put slices of it in the bottom of the pan, instead of raw meat. Also added sliced green onions on top. It was amazing! Everyone loved it at the potluck I brought it to!!!!
In this healthy ground beef recipe, ground beef patties seasoned with Turkish spices are cooked with eggplant, pepper, tomatoes and herbs to create a delectable stew. Serve the beef patties and vegetables over bulgur or brown rice soak up all of the sauce.
1. The first step is to make and bake the meatballs. Genius, I know. You can always count on me for the obvious.  😛 I know there are some days when you are so busy you can hardly breathe. But there are probably days, too, when you have a little bit of free time. Use that time to get ahead and make up a batch (or even a double batch!) of these meatballs.
Fast forward twenty years…and plenty of experimentation and I’ve found that I can make a lot of other foods with ground beef that aren’t much harder than spaghetti and still satisfy the diversity that my husband craves at meal time.
After draining the pasta, I added it to the cooked chicken and topped it with the Chunky Bruschetta Finishing Sauce and couple of tablespoons of grated parmesan – covered it, and a few minutes later, din din was ready!
In 10-inch nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook mushrooms, onions and garlic in butter 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Remove from skillet to small bowl; set aside.
This may be dumb, but am I missing something? It looks like there’s a whole bunch of seasoning on this dish, yet only pepper is listed. And what is the tomato sauce that could be eaten with a spoon? Just the tomatoes, garlic, basil and pepper? This looks amazing, so I don’t want to screw it up. 🙂
