“veg food”

I got this recipe from my aunt when I was a teen and have made these miniature loaves many times since. My husband and three children count this main dish among their favorites. —Kathy Bowron, Cocolalla, Idaho
Ina’s buttery shrimp linguine is just what you need when you want a fast but elegant dish. Cooking the pasta and the sauce together for the last few minutes is her trick to getting the pasta to really absorb the fresh flavor.

1 Make the tomato sauce: Heat olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Add the onions, carrots, celery, and parsley. Stir to coat with the oil, reduce the heat to low and cover the pan. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until the vegetables are soft and cooked through.
I purchased all of your freezer to slow cooker ebooks a month or so ago and I’m in love with this way of cooking.  I now have taken all 10 weeks of recipes and written them of my menu planner and then I repeated the 10 weeks and will continue to do so throughout the year.  My family of 5 adults and 1 child enjoy the meals that you have planned and I have cooked and I’m excited that the next time when that meal comes due up in the rotation I won’t have to purchase anything but just pull it from the freezer.  Thank you so much
I am so excited to hear that you enjoy and use this recipe, Jamie! It’s always been a favorite recipe of my Mama’s – my whole family loves it! So neat to see that it’s how your Grandmother has always made it too! Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know you enjoy it!
Thank you Suzanne. You have to forgive me because you did a meatball post for YOURS!! I couldn’t help myself! I wanted to try chicken parmesan subs, gourmet style, until I realized that I have no idea how to do that. HA! Bobby Flay’s meatballs were too tempting. I’m LOVING the sauce from Uncle Steve’s, woooohooo! Thanks for visiting, I hope you’re having a great week!
Made these according to recipe. Will definitely leave the rice out next time. Otherwise, good flavor. Maybe amend the recipe to not include rice? I think it would stick fine with the egg and flour alone. Still added rice because I thought maybe you were on to something!
When you have the kind of demands on your time that you do (it’s great that your daughter is still interested in sports… hopefully it continues even after she discovers BOYS) a little help is nothing to be ashamed of. And it sounds so tasty too. 🙂

This is very similar to bulgogi. If you allow the seasoning to marinate overnight, you will love it. Koreans use think sliced ribeye, rather than ground beef. I also recommend adding some onions and shredded carrots.
in all my cooking years (which number almost 30 now!) i have never, ever made speghetti and meatballs. all variations of meat sauce, but never the actual meatball version. what on earth have i been doing all these years?
Quite simply, these are some of our readers’ favorite cookies. It consistently receives five-star reviews and stories of how they have been looking for this recipe for years—and how delicious this cookie is! Fabulously rich Chocolate Chunk-Mocha Cookies are simple enough for the most novice of bakers. They are filled with semisweet chocolate chunks, which make them a decadent delight. And it seems like they cook in almost no time. After the cookies cool completely, spread them with Mocha Frosting. This five-ingredient frosting is a smooth delight of coffee and cocoa. You’ll love how bold its flavors are.

I found this recipe looking for ground beef recipes even though I was using ground turkey. My hubs LOVED it. I stir fried cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, and onions with some soy sauce and then added it to the turkey after both were finished cooking. I also used fresh ginger because that is what I had on hand, I also added some of that fresh ginger to the rice in the rice maker as well. I was unsure about the turkey but my husband said if I hadn’t told him he would of never known it was turkey. Thank you for the delicious new recipe.
