“nut meringue roulade recipe”

Hello, I sometimes have soupy lasagne as well. One tip that has been very beneficial to me is to “dry out” the cottage cheese first. Place the cottage cheese between layers of paper towels and go over it with a rolling pin. Do this twice with fresh paper towels the second time. I hope this helps.
Question. Is the flour different for the Amazing White versus Amazing Chocolate cake? You specifically say cake flour for white but just flour for chocolate. So is the chocolate cake just all purpose flour and not cake flour???
I made these for dinner tonight and took the advice of others using half the salt , I’m not a fan of a lot of salt to begin with so it worked for me and cooked them just a bit longer. Overall I do have to say that these are the best pork chops I have tasted! My boyfriend thought I was crazy when I was mixing all this together but urns out his exact words were “…damn yummy…”!
I’ve never seen Ina Garten’s lasagna recipe until your comment sent me on a search. I can see how you think it is similar, but then again, lasagna recipes do tend to look similar. My recipe isn’t the same as Ina Garten’s recipe at all. And I hate to break it to you, but Food Network stars don’t develop their own recipes. That all happens in an amazing test kitchen with a really great team. As for this recipe, I took all the classic ingredients of a lasagna and made it to what I view as the perfect lasagna. So thanks for your input, but it seems like you just have a bone to pick with websites like mine rather than actual valid input.
Sherry Gore, the author of Simply Delicious Amish Cooking, has graciously shared her recipe for Hand-Breaded Pork Chops with us, and we couldn’t be happier. Sauteed in a pan and drizzled with gravy, this mouthwatering dish will disappear in a flash!
Great base cake recipe. I can see myself playing with this a bunch. I have made it as is, and with lemon zest and almond extract. The lemon/almond variation made people moan. Zest of 1-1 1/2 lemons, 1tsp of almond extract. Great crumb, a touch dry, but amazing topped with lemon curd.
Ma’am… This is really a delicious recipe… I’ve made it and I got so much appreciation from my friends and family. I had a question Ma’am.. Using this recipe quantity how many small batch cup cakes can I bake. Please reply Ma’am.
I made it for Christmas last year and everyone loooved it! The little piece that was left stood on top of the fridge uncovered for a few days and didnt even dry out 🙂 i made it again tonight for a family event tomorrow and its looking great. I only make 2 layers and bake it a bit longer, i also use 2 cups of cream cheese and only 2 cups of sugar to have a less sweet and more cream cheesy icing – delicious! Thank you for a great recipe.
Homemade cakes are almost as easy as opening a boxed mix, but your flavor options are much wider. If you’re new to baking, consider looking for a recipe that allows you to simply add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl, then combining. Whatever type of recipe you choose, you can be confident of good results if you simply follow the instructions carefully.
Oh my word! I absolutely love your most amazing chocolate cake. It is amazing every time I make it. So chuffed to have found this vanilla cake recipe…..it’s just as amazing, and so darn easy! Absolutely love your recipes

I have made this twice. I used the ingredients as written and baked it exactly 32 minutes, as directed. It was perfect. We love it. I believe the trick is in the swirling method. I let the knife only sink about an inch in the batter, so that the topping stays mostly on top. When checking for doneness, I inserted the toothpick in a place where there is only cake, without topping. I am cooking for two, so there was a lot. I froze individual servings for breakfasts later. It freezes well. Thank you for this amazing recipe.
Rachel, Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe!!!! It was so good I made two!!! Turned out beautifully!!! Great instructions!!! For the first one I used your butter icing recipe and the second one I used my homemade strawberry jam for the middle and smothered the cake in whipping cream. Oh my!!! Awesome!!!
Hi Donna! This is so amazing! I wouldn’t worry about the fennel at all. I like it, but it just tastes the sausage taste a little more sausage-y, if that makes sense. No love lost. I think if someone wants a recipe to be their “birthday dinner,” that is the highest possible compliment! Seriously! Nothing better. Thank you so much. 😀
Transform cream of mushroom soup into a delicious simmering sauce by tossing in some chopped onion and sliced fresh mushrooms. Add to seasoned and sauteed pork chops and you have a rich and creamy meal.
Stir the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and eggs in a medium bowl and set it aside.  Season the beef as desired.  In a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, cook the beef until it’s well browned, stirring often to break up the meat. Pour off any fat. Stir the sauce in the saucepan.

Pork chops come in a variety of cuts and sizes, much like beef steaks. All pork chops come from the loin of the animal, which runs from the shoulder to the hip. Get some tips on cooking pork chops and find new pork chop recipes.
Preheat oven to 375°. Spread 1 cup meat sauce in an ungreased 13×9-in. baking dish. Layer with three noodles, provolone cheese, 2 cups cottage cheese mixture, 1 cup mozzarella, three noodles, 2 cups meat sauce, remaining cottage cheese mixture and 1 cup mozzarella. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce and mozzarella (dish will be full).
Thank you so much for posting this recipe and icing to go with it. I never do very well in the kitchen and have had many birthday cake fails. I followed this recipe exactly for my sons third birthday party. I made the cupcake version with the instructions you gave. This was a hit! The kids and the adults loved the cupcakes. Everyone kept going back for more and more and many asked for the recipe. It was not too sweet and everyone loved the almond flavor. I am so excited to try your other recipes. You are obviously talented. Thank you again for posting this :).
I haven’t tried making this in smaller pans, so I don’t know an exact amount. I’m guessing the temp would stay the same, as long as they are the same type of pan as your 9×13 and I would say that they’ll cook a little longer, since it is in smaller pans. I would just keep checking once you’ve hit that 32 minutes and add a couple every time? I’m sorry, I wish I knew better. Let me know how long they end up baking for and we’ll pass that along. Thanks!!
Hmmm, I just made it last week and maybe put it in for 2 minutes longer. Not sure why you had to bake yours for so much longer, but I think it just depends on your oven since they’re all different. :/
People absolutely rave about my recipe for the Perfect Thick Cut Pork Chop. It’s about time I share an Easy Baked Pork Chop Recipe for those of you who prefer the boneless variety. A good pork chop doesn’t require much in the way of seasoning so I’ve kept things super simple in this recipe. It doesn’t get much easier than this!
I served this with this Broccoli Salad with Sour Cream Dressing. No mayo in the dressing, but honestly, you wouldn’t know it. Broccoli was/is on sale at Woolworths and I stocked up like a crazy woman. Now an entire shelf in my fridge is jam packed with 2 shopping bags filled with broccoli. So you can expect to see more tasty ways with broccoli in the coming weeks. 😉
Pork chops and applesauce with a spicy spin. This applesauce is made with fresh apples, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper and a hint of rosemary. It’ll speed up your metabolism thanks to capsaicin, the compound that gives the peppers their signature fire.
Start layering. Spread a few big spoonfuls of sauce to barely cover the base of an ovenproof dish (20 x 29 x 6cm deep). Cover with 2 sheets of lasagne, then spread over half the remaining sauce. Cover with 2 more lasagne sheets, then scatter spinach evenly over. Spread the ricotta mixture on top and cover with 2 more lasagne sheets. Spread with remaining sauce, then scatter over mozzarella and Parmesan to almost cover meat. Top with cherry tomatoes and some pepper, then cover loosely with foil.
A: Use gluten free flours at your own risk. Not all gluten free flours are equal and most don’t work as a straight forward substitute for all-purpose flour. I have not tested any gluten free flours in this recipe as I do not have Celiac’s disease.
Yet I’ve never met a person shopping in that aisle (and yes I’m that crazy person that interacts with the general public) who actually likes the weird shredding situation that accompanies no-boil noodles. So, we make THIS make ahead lasagna with regular noodles.
I just baked three cakes and they turned out wonderful and then I baked three more I forgot the vanilla. Some are smaller pans as I am making a tiered caked for my granddaughters birthday party tomorrow. Will it matter if some of the cakes have vanilla and some don’t as they will be decorated with buttercream icing?
This wonderful recipe for carrot cake dates back to my great-grandmother! My family and I make sure to bake up a few of these carrot cakes for special occasions to make sure there’s enough to go around. You’ll love the texture this pretty, moist treat gets from pineapple, coconut and, of course, carrots! —Debbie Jones, California, Maryland
The best lasagna recipe ever starts out with a homemade bolognese sauce. Bolognese sauce is a meat based sauce that gets its name because it originates in Bologna, Italy. In this recipe I’ve used a combination of lean ground beef and Italian style ground sausage. You’ll want to be sure to use a lean ground beef (93/7) for best results so that the sauce doesn’t end up greasy.
