“easy simple starters recipes”

I feel silly asking this but when you butter the pan are you putting the butter in first and then the parchment paper? Or butter on top of the paper. I don’t know why that was so confusing to me haha! Thanks
I made these pork chops for dinner tonight and they were sooooo good. I used fresh shredded Parmesan cheese and had to press it into the chops before I seared them. My husband is super picky and he loved them too! Always a huge plus. Thank you so much for the recipe.
I recommend serving this yummy treat when it’s warm because it just melts in your mouth and tastes just like regular Cinnamon Rolls! We love this cinnamon cake so much that we have it for Christmas every year. It’s just SO good!!
Today’s cinnamon roll cake recipe is seriously so gooey and delicious. We have made it so many times that it has become a favorite and is made every Christmas morning. If you love the idea of a cake version of cinnamon rolls, then you have to try this recipe.
It doesn’t get much more Southern than fried meat with creamy gravy. We lighten up or buttermilk batter with nonfat buttermilk, and lighten the cooking spray with fat free milk. The gravy gets its flavor from another secret of the Southern kitchen – by recycling the pan drippings from the meat preparation to add rich, finger licking flavor. Serve with cornbread and mashed potatoes to round of this easy Southern supper, and substitute chicken or steak for added variety.
You can also follow this recipe to make 2 smaller lasagnas instead of 1 large.  Use two 11x8x2-inch baking dishes and divide the beef mixture, noodles, cheese mixture and cheese between them.   Enjoy one right away and freeze the other for later.
Made this yesterday for my husband’s birthday. He said it was the best he’s ever had. He doesn’t usually ask questions about what I make but when he got home today he wanted to know everything that was in it. I was concerned since I had to use a 9×13 pan as I don’t have round cake pans. It came out fine, just had to bake extra 5 min. to set the middle. The cream cheese frosting was fantastic! Oh, just lightly greased pan, no flour or wax paper.
Serve the pork chops with potatoes and a side vegetable for a tasty everyday meal. Bone-in chops offer the most flavor but feel free to use boneless in the recipe. Country-style ribs are another excellent option. If the chops or ribs are quite thick, adjust the cooking time accordingly.
I’ve never seen Ina Garten’s lasagna recipe until your comment sent me on a search. I can see how you think it is similar, but then again, lasagna recipes do tend to look similar. My recipe isn’t the same as Ina Garten’s recipe at all. And I hate to break it to you, but Food Network stars don’t develop their own recipes. That all happens in an amazing test kitchen with a really great team. As for this recipe, I took all the classic ingredients of a lasagna and made it to what I view as the perfect lasagna. So thanks for your input, but it seems like you just have a bone to pick with websites like mine rather than actual valid input.
This is a truly amazing recipe! The almond extract makes it taste so much richer and more interesting than just plane-Jane vanilla. I love the suggestion in the comments to substitute coconut, too, and can’t wait to try it!
Great base cake recipe. I can see myself playing with this a bunch. I have made it as is, and with lemon zest and almond extract. The lemon/almond variation made people moan. Zest of 1-1 1/2 lemons, 1tsp of almond Great crumb, a touch dry, but amazing topped with lemon curd.
This cake is perfection! The batter was a bit stiff so I added a bit more milk. Cooked a tad longer, no biggie; everyone’s oven is different. I have a second one in oven with raisins. As well, I forgot to put the glaze on top and I think we will leave it that way. Not too sweet 🙂
Just a few ingredients give these tender chops all the glazed goodness they need. Serve with your favorite roasted veggies and you’ve got a meal bursting with flavor. —Lisa Gilliland, Fort Collins, Colorado
Bake at 350° for 14 to 16 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks, and cool completely (about 30 minutes).
