“luxury chocolate tart recipe”

Everybody’s answered the process question. I think there’s a big difference in end result. In my experience buying it at the grocery stores in a Commonwealth country, minced meat is a finer texture. It’s more crumbly as others point out. And if you use it in things like burgers, bolognese or taco meat the texture of the dish, as well as the overall outcome is different. For example, my mom’s bologonese recipe calls for a pound of ground beef. Although the weight is the same as a pound of minced meat, the volume is different. When we make this dish with a lb of ground beef, there’s a lot of tomato sauce in the recipe. When she makes it with minced beef, the beef overwhelms the sauce. Plus the texture is gritty.
I made the meatloaf first (with more spice and ketchup and tomato paste on top) then put slices of it in the bottom of the pan, instead of raw meat. Also added sliced green onions on top. It was amazing! Everyone loved it at the potluck I brought it to!!!!
This is the iconic, traditional meat loaf like your mom used to make (or that you wished your mom would make). Mix the ingredients gently, just until combined, and don’t compact the meat when shaping the loaf for best results. For extra pizzazz, garnish with parsley.
I make these often, have used half pork & half 80/20 beef, and I like that combo better than the all-beef (which was good, but not *as* good). I use fresh oregano and prepared breadcrumbs. I roast them for the original 20 minutes but I don’t cook them again with the sauce cuz I like to keep the leftovers un-sauced — I heat up the sauce on the stovetop (usually a prepared sauce if it’s a weeknight) and then add meatballs according to how many people I’m serving. The balls themselves are so tasty! They make great snacks all by themselves and I can’t help but snitch while the spaghetti & sauce are cooking 🙂
I’ve enjoyed Bobby Flay on the various cooking shows over the years and had the opportunity to eat in his American Bar restaurant. He was nice to come to our table for an autograph. Looking forward to trying the meatballs on angel hair pasta with heated in a small pan with one of Uncle Steve’s sauces. Need to cook a fresh loaf of Italian bread to top off the meal.
Hey gemma!i just wanted to make sure about s’mores cookie…will it be fine to bake the marshmallows at 375c.and one more question i m using an convection microwave.. i dont have an option broil..so how do i broil my marshmallows?
This is my favorite meatball recipe because of the flavor – the beef and pork combo is superior, I think, to just beef and to beef pork and veal. Just using beef and pork gives the meatballs the most flavor. The texture always comes out well too. Can’t speak for the sauce – I use my own recipe.
Watch the video below where I walk you through every step of this recipe. Sometimes it helps to have a visual and I am here to hold your hand every step of the way. You can find all of the episodes of my cooking show over on YouTube or in their associated recipes right here on the website.
Aww that is so sweet! Sorry you lost your original recipe, but happy you chose this one! That is awesome and thank you so much for your kind comments to use it for a long time to come. That makes my day Tori! 😀
This hearty dish pairs ground beef with earthy veggies like carrots, peas, mushrooms with flavorful, cheesy mashed potatoes. You can even make this dish ahead and refrigerate for an easy weeknight meal.
I LOVE pasta! I mean, who doesn’t?! It can be made into so many different recipes – from salads to main courses, and is always delicious!! I mean, yes, they have carbs, but this girl needs them in her life because I cook with them ALL the time. In fact, now that I think about it, we usually have pasta at least once a week. From Spaghetti to Fettuccine Alfredo, it’s something the whole family loves so we it quite often. This next dish is another one of those dishes you can add to the meal plan, because it’s simple and definitely delicious. This Creamy Garlic Penne Pasta is great on it’s own but could be even heartier if you add chicken or another favorite meat to eat.
Black rice has the same antioxidants as blueberries. The grain is loaded with anthocyanin, the antioxidant responsible for the inky blue color of blueberries and acai, and it has a toasted nutty flavor — some even say it smells like freshly baked bread.
You may have your own special name for this delightful dish, but all you really need to know is that you are going to be eating a delicious ground beef patty smothered in an amazingly creamy, spicy sauce. Wrapped inside a warm pita, and surrounded by crunchy lettuce, thick, juicy slices of fresh tomatoes, and rings of red onion, your mouth will literally be watering before you take the first bite. If you’ve never made this before, don’t worry. All the ingredients are easy to find. You can find tahini paste on the imported food aisle of large supermarkets or in Mediterranean markets.
Thanks so much 4 the recipe! I just wrote a comment, not sure you got it. Is it better to make this the day before & keep in the frig without the balls in order to enhance the flavor. & if yes, will it dry out?? Thanks Ann 4 this simple yet great ingredient recipe!
I just made this dish for dinner tonight. It was hands down one of the easiest and most delicious one pan chicken meals I’ve ever made! Even my pickiest eater devoured it. I didn’t have whole wheat pasta on hand so substituted protein enriched penne and regular bread crumbs for panko but aside from that I followed the recipe exactly. Definitely adding this recipe to the weekly dinner rotation!
I’ve made this a few times, always delicious! Last night for a new years party with my new in laws I skipped the pasta/spinach and used this recipe to make shrimp on the stove for 8 people in 20 minutes. Thank you!!!!
This sounds like a very inventive use of this cookie dough, and one I think other Bold Bakers will be delighted with. Adding the oatmeal will cut the sweetness too, and a bit of nutrition. Thank you for being in touch,
Part of what makes these cookies so great is their signature chunks of dark chocolate. They are what give these cookies their name. They’re also packed full of toasted oats, so you’ll love their distinctive flavor. And, for an even chewier texture, you can substitute ½ cup of hazelnut or almond flour for ½ cup of all-purpose flour.

Guilty of making recipes and not providing reviews. So, will try to improve. These meatballs are excellent. Can’t wait to immerse in fav sauce and cook for 20 minutes or so to add some additional flavor to sauce.
The ground beef takes only minutes to brown but you still get that delicious Korean flavor in this meal.  The brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger combination is the best.  It helps take the flavor to next level with the simple kitchen ingredients.  The best part is that because we love Asian flavors so much I always have these ingredients on hand.  All I have to do is buy a pound of ground beef each week.
Hi Cassie, The mixture shouldn’t be overly wet. I’m guessing that in the process of doubling, either some of the measurements were slightly off or the wet ingredients simply didn’t get fully incorporated. You may find that the mixture stiffens up and becomes easier to roll after refrigerating. If not, go ahead and sprinkle in a bit more of the breadcrumbs. I’m sure they’ll turn out great in the end!
Brimming with chopped zucchini, carrot, and mushrooms, this meat-lover’s potpie packs in a hearty serving of vegetables. Cook the filling in a skillet on the stove top, then spoon it into a baking dish. Finish the casserole in the oven to brown the breadstick-dough topping.
The meatballs were fantastic! Although, next time I would double the amount of sauce. You must use San Marzano tomatos with for the sauce, and don’t be fooled by the “San Marzano” brand– find the can that says grown in Italy. The sauce recipe is very similar to Marcella Hazan’s recipe– it is supposed to be simple and let the ingredients shine. http://www.nytimes.com/recipes/1015178/marcella-hazans-tomato-sauce.html
Making Mexican lasagna means you are getting the best of both flavor worlds on your table at one time, and this delicious ground beef recipe shows you how to put it all together. To let your lasagna go Mexican you’ll be layering ground beef and sausage with corn tortillas, tomatoes, green chiles, enchilada sauce, and cheese. It tastes even more delicious than it sounds! And since this is a one of our favorite quick-fix suppers, this ground beef sensation is a convenient weeknight dinner that the kids will love as much as the grownups. So take your pasta south of the border and start layering your Mexican lasagna now.
The Best Swedish Meatballs are smothered in the most amazing rich and creamy gravy.  The meatballs are packed with such delicious flavor.  You will quickly agree these are the BEST you have ever had!
Go ahead and throw everything in. Well, not quite everything. As the name implies, you throw just about everything but the kitchen sink into these ultra-decadent brownies. That means they are packed full of cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, chopped candy bars, chocolate morsels, white chocolate morsels, and pecan pieces—that’s a lot of deliciousness. Bake these up and you’ll find the kitchen sink in there somewhere. it is just hidden by all the goodness. To make baking and cleanup easy, line the pan with foil before spooning the batter into the pan.
