“where to buy spiralized zucchini”

It’s January which means you may be noticing the result of the not-so-figure-friendly foods that have made their way into our homes over the past couple of months. I know that I am. In addition to the holiday food bonanza, I spent more time than usual on the couch watching Home Alone, Love Actually, and Elf for the zillionth time. I’m definitely feeling the need to lighten things up. Are you with me?
At family get-togethers, our children always request this spirit-warming soup along with a fresh loaf of homemade bread and tall glasses of milk. It has robust flavor, plenty of fresh-tasting vegetables and is easy to make. -Barbara Brown, Janesville, Wisconsin
This is absolutely amazing. My family loved this hands down. Now finding the ginger root and mincing it myself was a little on the challenging side, but made this two nights in a row. My mom which if your food is good she’ll say “It’s alright”, if it’s great she’ll say “it was good “, but I have never had her say “that was bomb, that was the best I’ve ever had” was just awesome. I definitely recommend this and thank you for sharing this……
I have tried this recipe twice now and both times were awesome! The first time I followed the recipe to the letter and the second time I subbed mushrooms and zucchini for the spinach. So good and super easy!
These icings will start to stiffen as they sit. They will be good for 1/2 hour after you mix them up. If you want to make them in advance and use them later, place them in a bowl and lay a damp paper towel directly on the surface. And then cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave at room temperature. If necessary, whisk in an additional 1-2 Tbsp. hot water to recapture proper consistency.
Just made a quadruple batch of these beauties for the holidays. I subbed one lb of lamb for one of the 4 lbs of beef. They turned out amazing! Firm but tender with a delicate browned crust. Very flavorful and moist. First time I’ve used Panko in meatballs. They worked beautifully. When dry, they have a bit of “tooth”, which helps bite through the raw ingredients so you don’t overmix with your hands.
These brownies are literally filled with the delicious tastes of rich, melted chocolate. Some of the chunks from this recipe go in whole, while others are melted down in advance. It’s the chocolate chunks that make these brownies fudgy. They’re also packed with chopped, toasted hazelnuts or pecans.  Use the 23-minute baking time to make them extra gooey. Let them cool and dust them with powdered sugar. Then, you’re ready to bite into these decadent delights. In the words of one online reviewer, “I have finally found a go-to brownie recipe.” Everyone needs a go-to brownie recipe, so follow her lead and let this one be yours.
Pull some cornbread fresh out of the skillet and savor the aroma of our Beef-and-Black-Eyed Pea Chili. You can fill a Dutch oven with chili meat, sweet onion, black-eyed peas, beer, and more, and in under an hour sit down to a delicious bowl of chili. Serve it with jalapeño pepper slices, Cheddar cheese, or pico de gallo, or just enjoy it as it comes. However you prefer it, you won’t go wrong. Pick up your spoon and enjoy this chili now.
DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies are amazing, but this chocolate chip cookie recipe is even BETTER than the DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe!! It’s gooey and full of chocolate, oats, and walnuts. Plus, these are HUGE cookies!
Spritz cookies are holiday classics. To bake truly authentic spritz cookies, you will want to invest in a cookie press. Then you will be sure to get that oh-so-perfect shape. This beautiful symmetry is actually party of the traditional spritz cookie, and you’ll enjoy creating these gorgeous sweets on your baking sheets too. In the oven, these cookies bake to become light, crisp, golden delights. You can even add colored sugar crystals on top for an extra festive flair. Just be careful that the sugar is lightly colored with liquid—too much can make the sugar wet. Cool completely, then enjoy these festive delights.
just wondering how many cookies this recipe will make if I scoop it by tablespoons? I have to make cookies for my sisters and they need 36 cookies. I want to know if i have to double the recipe or not?
I know what you’re probably thinking: It’s just a cookie, right?  I mean, they look innocent enough, golden with melty chocolate chips, crinkled edges and melt-in-your-mouth interiors… but one bite and you’re ruined for life.
This healthy meatloaf recipe and side dishes are all made in the oven on two sheet pans so that everything’s ready for the dinner table at the same time. The potatoes go into the oven first to start roasting while the mini meatloaves and green beans are prepped and added to the oven partway through.

If you’re looking for a dead-simple dish for dinner (or a snack), you can’t do much better than this Italian classic made with garlic and olive oil. Just cook garlic—and red pepper flakes, if you’d like—in the oil, then add cooked pasta and a little pasta-cooking liquid, stirring vigorously to emulsify the oil and starchy water. Don’t forget one last drizzle of oil for brighter flavor before serving.
I made these last night. First time I have made meatballs in a year since going GF. I didn’t have any rice Chex but had a funky flax cereal that I couldn’t eat as a cereal! These were so great you didn’t even notice the weird smalls balls of cereal in them. Even my gluten loving family choked these down! Already have a batch in the freezer!!

These great tasting Swedish meatballs are a family favorite. We like them with mashed potatoes, but cooked noodles or rice would be excellent as well. They make an excellent appetizer, as well. Serve them buffet-style (smorgasbord) from a chafing dish or slow cooker.
My mother made them all throughout my childhood and we always got so excited when these were for supper! While my born and raised southern family adores these meatballs, I’m certainly happy to see that your husband who is Swedish says they’re perfect to him too!!!
BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve ever made, and believe me, I’ve experimented with everything from cookbook recipes to the back of the chocolate chip bag. Soft, chewy, buttery, 5-star taste. I used 62% dark chocolate chunks and cut them down to 1 cup and these cookies were perfect. Thanks so much for sharing.
Pasta doesn’t get much quicker or easier than this—the sauce requires four ingredients and is ready in the same amount of time it takes to cook the noodles. Its bright flavors come from garlic, basil, and cherry tomatoes, which we sauté until they burst. Because cherry tomatoes have lots of pectin, their juice easily emulsifies with olive oil and pasta water to form a light sauce.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add meatballs to the pan and brown on all sides. When meatballs are browned, add the sauce to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Let simmer, basting the meatballs sporadically with a spoon, until sauce has reduced by half and meatballs are cooked through, 8-10 minutes.

Why put the cheese on top of the burger when half of it just melts off? Instead, form the burger around the cheese so you can char the meat and safeguard the more delicate flavors. Use any mixture of hard or semihard cheeses–Emmentaler and Gouda or Asiago and Parmigiano-Reggiano also pair well.

2. Shape mixture into 2 1/2-to-3-inch balls. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Smash remaining clove of garlic with the back of a knife and add to skillet. Cook until lightly browned and fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes; remove with a slotted spoon and discard. Working in batches, add meatballs to skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, turning, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
