I made this tonight and I was blown away with how good it was. Made it just about exactly as written except I may have made the sauce a little thicker as directed which turned out soooo good. I gave it 5 stars but several pluses should be added to it!! This will be a regular meal in this household!!

I had the same issue as another reader, the bacon not cooking. For the 6 breasts it def took about 60 minutes to cook, but it’s almost done now and about to come out of the oven. Smells amazing in my house right now….

Can I get a hallelujah for air conditioning?  Our air conditioning went out in the place where we are living now and of course it is the week before the big move.  As if packing and getting ready to move isn’t torture enough, I have had to do it in 85 degrees.  Gah!  It took 3 days for them to get it replaced and working properly.  And today is the first day that it is working.  You better believe I have that baby cranked down to 68. 😉

This is the best chicken even made it on Christmas Eve when me neither n mom we’re over with my husband myself and my one year old. All ages LOVED this! Also, you can totally do this with chicken breasts instead of thighs. I do suggest pounding the chicken breast to an even thickness first to help them cook evenly (You don’t want the tip to get tough and rubbery before the thick part cooks through).
